Whatever you are facing you are not alone. At Counselling Together, we provide professional, confidential, and affordable one to one counselling for adults and couples in the New Forest.  Our bursary fund reduces the cost of sessions so that if you are facing financial hardship you can still access the help you need.

In line with Covid-19 government guidelines, we can offer face-to-face counselling, online (via Zoom or WhatsApp) or telephone counselling. The team have been trained to provide remote counselling, which although different to meeting face to face, has proven to be a highly effective for our clients in the safety of their own homes during this uncertain season.

What is counselling?

Counselling is a talking therapy that helps work through present problems, emotions, behaviours and thinking. Your counsellor supports you in identifying patterns of behaviour and works with you to promote healthy change at a pace you can manage.


Who is counselling for?

It is for anyone going through difficulties such as:

  • Bereavement, grief, loss
  • Anger, low self-worth, guilt
  • Severe low mood or despair
  • Anxiety, stress, obsessive behaviour
  • Past family problems
  • Relationship breakdown
  • A survivor of physical, emotional or sexual abuse
  • Self-harm or suicidal thoughts
